Core Beliefs

The following are summaries of our core beliefs.

We believe in God, the Father Almighty, Jesus Christ, His Only Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary. Our beliefs reflect 'Authentic' Faith followed up with 'Action' of our Faith, the Holy Bible (God's infallible Words), Jesus Christ's sacrifice and crucifixion on the cross, death and burial, resurrection-ascension to heaven, one must be “Born Again” (rebirth of one's spirit) the indwelling of the Holy Spirit (John 3:3-7), Jesus Christ, the Messiah will return to judge both the living and the dead, leading to life everlasting for all those who place their trust alone in Him as their Lord & Savior. “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me.”  (John 14:6)

God

There is One eternally existing God who has three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (John 14:26). He is the creator of all that exists, both visible and invisible, and is therefore worthy of all glory and praise.  God is perfect in love, power, holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom, justice, and mercy. Jesus Christ is unchangeable and therefore is the same yesterday, today, tomorrow and forever (Heb 13:8)

Revelation

God has revealed himself to us through His Son, Jesus Christ, who is the visible image of the invisible God, the holy scriptures, and through all of creation itself (Colossians 1:15).

Mankind

Humans, both male and female, were created in God's image for His glory. The first humans, Adam and Eve, were created without sin and appointed as caretakers of the rest of God's creation (Genesis 1:26-27).

The Fall

When Adam and Eve chose not to obey God, they ceased to be what they were made to be and became distorted images of God. This caused them to fall out of fellowship with God and fractured all of creation ever since that time (Genesis 3:1-24).

Salvation

Jesus Christ came to reconcile us with God. He lived a life without sin and willingly died on the cross to pay the penalty for our transgressions. God raised him from the dead and now, by grace, offers a free gift of eternal life to all who believe in Jesus Christ, His Only Son, with authentic faith and repentance, placing their trust not in themselves but in Him alone as their Lord & Savior. That is why salvation can only be found in Christ alone (John 3:16).

The Church

The Church is not just centered around a physical building, but an assembly of born again believers. As Christians, we are part of God's temple (1 Corinthians 3:16-17), baptized by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit into the body of Christ, sent into the world to witness and glorify God, proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ as our Lord & Savior.

Resurrection & Return

Jesus Christ is the foundation of our Christian faith. Without the resurrection, there would be no bridge for redemption and the forgiveness of sins (1 John 5:11-12). Jesus Christ will be returning one day (second coming) as the conquering King (Revelation 19:11-16) and to usher in the fullness of God's kingdom on earth (Revelation 21:2-3).
